Mission Complete = Pacific War Without Lid Lift!
This was one of our main goals when we decided to create new trays for the counters:
to fit all counters from Pacific War inside the box and fully close the lid.
I recently received the game from Michał, who did the impossible — he transferred and sorted all the counters from the old tray set into the new one. When I opened the box, I was amazed — my measurements were spot on, and everything fit perfectly.
We’ve now decided to offer both tray sets in our shop.
- The old set was extremely cost-efficient — it included just 3 trays and 1 lid (only 4 pieces total), which made it a budget-friendly solution.
- The new set includes 10 trays and 1 lid — almost three times more trays! I’m sure many of our fans will even choose to mix both solutions for the best fit.
We’re also exploring labeling options for the trays.
Right now, we’re testing antistatic foil designed for laminating. It has two great features:
- It’s antistatic, offering extra protection for your counters.
- You can stick labels on it or slip in printed or handwritten descriptions without laminating.
It’s widely available worldwide, so you can test it on your own — but if it meets our expectations, we’ll consider adding it to our shop. If you have any ideas for how to label the trays, feel free to write to us — we’d love to hear your thoughts! You can find detailed photo of each tray on the product page: Pacific War: The Struggle Against Japan, 1941-1945
Important Note for US Customers:
There was a recent tariff announcement, and at first we were concerned it might affect shipping from the EU. Thankfully, the $800 daily limit for duty-free packages still applies to shipments from most countries — including EU countries — at least for now.
The only exception (for now) is China, where this limit will be removed starting in May.
P.S. A small number of counters (with points) are packed near the maps in ziplock bags.
