High Frontier 4 All: The Ultimate Heavyweight Strategy Game – Now with Our Insert!
Not long ago, we received a request to design a storage solution for what is, without a doubt, one of the most complex and strategically demanding board games we’ve ever seen—High Frontier 4 All.
This game sits at a 4.81 weight rating on a scale of 1 to 5, making it one of the heaviest strategy games out there. For comparison, my personal gaming journey started with Catan (weight 2.29), then progressed through heavier Euro games like Agricola (3.64), Brass (3.8), Through the Ages (4.44), and Terra Mystica (3.97).
After a few years, I discovered 18xx games, where most of my collection now resides—games with a weight starting from 4.1 and beyond. Mastering the 18xx system took months, but now we play at an advanced level. My next frontier? Wargames—and titles like Pacific War (weight 4.75) are on my wishlist. Maybe, one day, I’ll take on the ultimate challenge—High Frontier itself!
A Storage Solution for a Heavyweight Title
We’re excited to add another heavyweight strategy game to our shop, especially since our varied storage solutions fit perfectly and are significantly more affordable than many other printed or wooden inserts. Plus, they are versatile—you can easily rearrange, modify, or repurpose them for other games if your collection evolves over time.
To create the best solution, we acquired a full copy of High Frontier 4 All, including all expansions, allowing us to design storage sets for every module. The biggest advantage? Each player has their own color-coded holder, and all other components are easily accessible, making setup and gameplay seamless.

Where are the Bernal figures stored? I don’t see them in the pictures.
They should stay in the original box along with the extension—there’s a plastic insert inside that keeps these elements safe.
So does the small box that protects that Bernals go into the big HF4All box or does it stay in the smaller Colonization Box? I think the idea is to have it all in the main box?
Sorry I guess I’m confused what you mean by “original” as in the box the Bernals came in, or the original “main” game box. Also do you think the 6th player expansion will fit?
