New Tray Sets

Big Update in Community Tray Solutions

We’ve recently received a significant influx of new and old titles featuring our trays from our fans. This month, we’ve added a record number of new titles to our catalog, and we’re not even halfway through the month! A batch of games is still waiting to be photographed, including two major titles from MMP and several smaller ones. Stay tuned for more exciting updates soon.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to show you the titles added at the end of August, so let’s start with them.

AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS:

Death Valley: Battles for the Shenandoah

This substantial title comes with 5 trays full of counters (including an expansion). Stephen Rochelle, who sent us the largest number of titles, also created a spreadsheet to plan out the trays, which you can download directly from the product page. For all universal counters, Stephen chose to use our new low tray with larger compartments.

Into the Woods: The Battle of Shiloh, April 6-7, 1862

Another significant entry in the American History series by GMT, this set includes 3 trays, one of which is a new design. The spreadsheet for this set is also available.

Thunder on the Mississippi: Grant’s Vicksburg Campaign

This new release by Multi-Man Publishing, featuring a beautiful cover, also focuses on American History. It demonstrates how to utilize our Standard Trays effectively—two trays with just one lid are included in the set, offering cost savings and reducing weight.

Twin Peaks

Covering the Great Battles of the American Civil War, this GMT title comes with 3 perfectly sorted trays and a spreadsheet created by Stephen.

SEPTEMBER RELEASES:

American Tank Ace 1944-1945

I discovered this set on Twitter and obtained permission from 2DiceforTea to share it with a broader audience. Published by Compass Games, this solitaire, tactical game where the player controls a single tank in Europe post-D-Day, requires only one of our Standard Low Trays for perfect sorting.

Barbarossa: Crimea 1941-42

This relatively recent GMT title has been perfectly organized by Stephen, complete with a downloadable spreadsheet.

Barbarossa: Kiev to Rostov, 1941

Despite its apparent lack of popularity in recent sales stats, this set is again perfectly organized with 3 trays and a spreadsheet.

Musket & Pike Dual Pack

Another new GMT release, perfectly organized with 3 trays. You can choose between a set with one standard and two low trays, or a set with three standard trays and one lid—the latter being a more cost-effective option.

OCS: Luzon: Race for Bataan & OCS: Sicily II

These two MMP games are magazine releases and do not come with a box. However, using a tray can make it much more efficient to store all counters and dice.

Skirmisher #4 Lee’s Last Offensive

Also released as a magazine, this title recommends a small low tray that fits inside a ziplock bag. If you have the second edition of Skirmisher, you can fit counters from both releases into one Standard Low Tray with 20 compartments!

Thank you to everyone, especially Stephen Rochelle, for contributing these amazing titles. Board games not only entertain but also teach us about history, as evidenced by my own experience with Vuca Simulations’ “In Fours to Heaven.” After playing, I was inspired to learn more about this dark period in Poland’s history and immediately purchased Roger Moorhouse’s book, “Poland 1939: The Outbreak of World War II.” Indeed, games have a magical way of sparking interest in learning!
