Big Set for “Great War Commander” by Hexasim

We are sometimes taken by surprise by publishers, especially when they request us to create dedicated sets of trays for their games! It is an honor for us to create a set upon such requests, and this case with Hexasim was no exception. Michal crafted this set the moment we received Hexasim’s request. They initially asked for a set for the main title. Fortunately, we gained access to all games from this remarkable series, allowing us to include a significant expansion to the main game and a second, smaller one as well.

The complete set includes trays for the ‘British Expeditionary Force’ expansion, first printed in 2020, and additionally, the Battle Pack Nr1, released in 2022. For these, four dedicated compartments in the set are reserved.

The game offers limited space for trays and our card holders, especially if you use sleeves for your cards. To accommodate everything correctly, we created separate sets: one for the base game alone and another for the base game with expansions. Each set contains different trays, and this approach allowed us to fit everything perfectly.

This is the only game for which we have combined trays with counters and card holders into a single product in our shop. Otherwise, we would have had not four but eight different products in our store, and even the most adept wargame enthusiasts might find it challenging to choose the correct items for their basket.
