Update September 2

We received 11 correct answers for our latest contest! The game was Downfall: Conquest of the Third Reich, 1942-1945.

Choosing the winner was delayed by a day due to my trip to one of the biggest wargame conventions in Poland, where I had a wonderful time. I played War Room, Men of Iron, and participated in a large campaign of the upcoming Vuca Simulations game, In Fours of Heaven. This experience made me realize how little I knew about Poland’s tragic history, prompting me to buy a book that same day—Roger Moorhouse’s “First to Fight: The Polish War 1939.” I also had the opportunity to speak with the Vuca Simulations team and thank them for their contribution to our game set offer.

If you are interested in this title, here is a link to our game live stream. It’s in Polish, but you can see the beautifully enlarged map: https://www.youtube.com/live/OG5n9OmTFWQ?si=wSOa7XvaYnYk5j_R

This view focuses on the main map, and there are about 18 short scenarios to play!

What about future contests?

Firstly, we’ve decided to continue running the contests until the end of August. Our main goal was to increase our visibility on social media, and it really happened thanks to your help. However, two factors have led us to make some adjustments: the abundance of news we haven’t had time to publish due to contest preparations, and the small number of participants. So, we’ve decided to:

  • Hold a contest every two weeks, giving you a full weekend to reply!
  • Make the prizes bigger!

We now have our second t-shirt design, and I think it’s amazing, so we will include it as part of the prize for future contests! The next one will occur in the next two weeks. Thanks to Grzesiek’s help (he’s also the author of the new Vuca game!), we now have over 10 new games from which we can choose for the next contest!

I think that it is a great news for you!

Let’s choose a winner for the latest August contest! The participants were:

  1. Charles
  2. Juan
  3. Ganix
  4. Kamil
  5. Adam
  6. Matt
  7. Enrique
  8. Hywel
  9. Trent
  10. Enric
  11. Daniel (utechle)

We used a Random Number Picker to choose the winner, and the result is: 6 !

Congratulations!!!
