Fields of Fire – Small Set Updates and More News

We’ve been receiving valuable feedback from you about this set, and after reviewing the version created by Allyn on BoardGameGeek, we’ve decided to make a few small updates to the one available in our shop.

Sleeved Action Deck Option

The option we liked most was the dedicated tray for sleeved action cards only. Since this is the most frequently used deck in the game, it makes sense to protect it.
We’ve now added this as a separate option in our store. If you’d prefer to sleeve all cards, we also offer a full sleeved version.

Counter Tray Simplification

Previously, we offered two different tray sets for counters. We’ve now simplified it by keeping just one efficient layout — the version that works without sleeves and without expansions.
If you decide to buy an expansion in the future, you’ll only need to add one extra tray for counters and a few more for cards — no need to any replace. This change avoids confusion and makes upgrades easier.

Why We Didn’t Add Allyn’s Version

While we were tempted to include the exact setup Allyn presented on BGG, we ultimately decided to stick with the simplified version for the store.
Adding all of Allyn’s configurations would mean introducing multiple new sets for different card combinations, which could become overwhelming for customers.

New Counter Tray Sizes Incoming!

We’ve just received prototypes for two new tray sizes — designed specifically for 13mm and 17mm counters. These trays are more compact, similar to our existing 12-compartment format.

We plan to add them to the shop with a launch discount — their delivery is expected next week!

These will be great for:

• Games with fewer counters
• More efficient sorting
• Combining with our card holders

New Large Card Holder

We’ll publish a dedicated article about this one soon, but for now, here’s a quick heads-up:
A new Large Card Holder is coming! Production is complete, and we’re adding it to the store right now.
